TRENTEPOHLIA
This painting has special significance to me because, when I was 18 years old my family and I went on vacation to Monterey Bay. While we were there we visited point lobos. It was my favorite vacation to date, the sounds of the crashing waves, breathtaking views and my favorite tree, the Cypress. As I walked down the trail taking everything in, I turn a corner and all of the trees were covered in this beautiful bright orange red lichen I had never seen anything like it, it was beautiful! That moment has always inspired me creatively.
